MISSION

The Southern Soul Awards was formulated in 2022 in Charleston, SC

To acknowledge the genre of Southern Soul Music and the contributions to the music industry.

The goal of the Southern Soul Award committee is to salute the artistry of these composers and performers with an award for their dedication and contribution to music history. Listeners in Charleston and the Surrounding areas will vote via the website on the best in each category.

Awards will be distributed in seven categories along with a legend of Southern Soul Award titled The Legend Award. The Southern Soul Awards is scheduled for September 10TH 2022 at the Omar Shrine Temple.
